I have just finished writing an article about how great the books are and how this should constitute a perfect gift for someone.
It does not matter if you are 19 or 30, it only matters to understand what it is written in these motivational books.
The “Simple acts of moving forward: A little book about getting unstuck” could be the perfect gift for a 30 year old person. You have to be sure that the person will enjoy the book. This is the difference from a 30 year old person and a 19 year old person. The kid will appreciate almost every gift that she or he will receive, espcially if the gift comes from friends. Also, the gifts offered by his parents are well seen by the kid. But at 30, when you have so much work to do, when you are stressed because of the bills and everything that you need to pay and to consume, you may not read as much as you read when you were 19. This is why if the person does not like the book, then she or he will not read the book. The person will simply place the book on the bookshelf and this is it.
Maybe with another occasion, the person will offer the same book to one of her or his friends. This is something that should not happen, but in most cases, it does, if the person hates the book or the author. In the case of the book I have just mentioned, this cannot be a risk, because many people have heard of Vinita Hampton Wright. The book is not new. In 2013, there will be 10 years since this book saw the light of printing. The book is in hardcover and it benefits of 3 stars and a half on Amazon.
